Subject:I'm getting my Miggy back!

I'm getting my EZ/PC tower back!
HOORAY!
Sorry, I just had to tell someone.
Look forward to lot's of daft questions about O/S 3.9 and all things Amiga!
<gg>

BTW Thanks to Gary and Mike at Eyetech for putting up with my moaning and
sobbing when the complex little bugger went belly up on the Miggy side!
Something I never expected!
I can whole heartedly recommend Eyetech and their customer support system,
no questions asked, they'll work out how, when, why and get on with it! My
only gripe? You have to phone them, all their emails to me seem to go
astray! Once on the phone, "Hello it's Richard!" and a full run down of
where we're at and what needs to be done follows! How personal do you want
the service to be?? I am not a number! I am an Eyetech customer!
Replacing Apollo 060'66 when only half the memory worked = Free!
Four weeks system stability testing after installing O/S 3.9 = Free!
Re-installing missing libraries from software installed by me, lost when 3.9
was installed = Free!
Replacing dodgy video card because the T.V. tuner was suspect = Free!
Getting a DVD player to test the T.V. tuner input = Free! (Although I
suspect Gary may be charging this to the company account!) <gg>
Re-installing Siamese RTG, making it work and testing = Free!
Total cost = O/S 3.9 and return carriage fees!

All these problems appeared AFTER I'd got the system home and started asking
it to work hard!
Bear in mind that they are all niggling problems (apart from the Amiga
failures, which was down to a strange O/S problem) and I can't sing
Eyetech's praises enough!

If you are going to the Kickstart meeting at Banstead on the 26th, say hello
to people that care about their customers, even moany gits like me!

Richy.
